In 2003, a community meeting was convened to determine the best way in which the community could constitute itself in order to enhance and realise its intrinsic attributes and reinforce its standing within the UK wider community. Following several meetings and deliberations, Cameroon Forum was birthed. All its attributes including name, logo, motto, objectives, ethos, and constitution model were all collectively chosen.

It was Henry Ford, the inventor of the now globally famous Ford automobile who said; “Coming Together is a beginning. Keeping Together is Progress. Working Together is Success”. At Cameroon Forum, we believe that we are just substantively surmounting the first hurdle. Though some of our programmes have allowed to work together (whole community), there is still a lot more to be achieved, and significant potential benefit that can accrue. It is our continuing mission to distil the intrinsic endowments of our pedigree community into tangible benefits for us and our neighbours – locally and globally.
